Integrate your Baremetrics account with HubSpot

What this app does

The Baremetrics for HubSpot integration connects your Baremetrics customers with your HubSpot contacts, allowing you to sync subscription and revenue data between both platforms for better segmentation, reporting, and automation.

With this app, you can:

  • Sync Baremetrics customer data to HubSpot contact properties, including:

    • Subscription status

    • Plan name

    • Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR)

    • Lifetime Value (LTV)

    • Recover links

  • Sync selected HubSpot contact properties into Baremetrics as customer attributes so they can be used for segmentation and analytics.

Sync runs automatically every two hours in both directions.


Permissions required

During installation, Baremetrics will request the following permissions:

  • Read and write contacts and companies
    Used to create and update Baremetrics-related properties on HubSpot contact and company records.

  • Read and edit contact and company properties
    Required to sync subscription and revenue fields into HubSpot and pull selected HubSpot fields into Baremetrics.

Baremetrics only accesses data needed to perform the sync and does not modify unrelated HubSpot records.


How to install the app

  1. Log in to your Baremetrics account.

  2. Navigate to Settings > HubSpot.

  3. Click Connect.

  4. Select the HubSpot account you want to connect.

  5. Review the requested permissions.
    - Baremetrics requests access to read and write contacts & companies, as well as read and edit contact & company properties.

  6. Click Connect app.


Configure the app

  1. In Baremetrics, go to Settings > HubSpot.

  2. Open the dropdown menu and select up to 10 HubSpot contact properties you want to sync into Baremetrics.

  3. Save your selection.

You’re done! Baremetrics will perform both inbound and outbound syncs every 2 hours, pulling the selected properties into Baremetrics as customer properties for segmentation.


Using the app

Once sync operations have run for the first time, you’ll likely want to view your newly created properties in both HubSpot and Baremetrics.

To view Baremetrics properties in HubSpot:

  1. Navigate to any contact in HubSpot.

  2. Click the settings (cog) icon in the Key Information section.

  3. In the Properties panel, search for “Baremetrics.”

  4. Select the Baremetrics properties you want to display.

  5. Click Save.

You can now use these properties in HubSpot lists, workflows, dashboards, and reports.


To view HubSpot properties in HubSpot:

  1. In Baremetrics, navigate to Customers and select a customer.

  2. In the Attributes section, click Customize.

  3. Locate properties prefixed with “HubSpot:” and enable them.

  4. Click Save.

These properties are now available for segmentation and filtering inside Baremetrics.


Disconnect the app

If you disconnect HubSpot from Baremetrics:

  • Data will no longer sync in either direction.

  • Existing synced data will remain in both HubSpot and Baremetrics.

  1. Log in to Baremetrics.

  2. Navigate to Settings > HubSpot.

  3. Click Disconnect.
