Invite Team Members

Work is better with friends πŸ‘‹

You can add an unlimited number of team members to your Baremetrics account on every plan. Whether you are collaborating with your founders, agencies, finance partners, or developers, everyone can have their own login.

Only admins can invite new team members, edit roles, or remove access. Any developers who use the API need to be set as admins.


How to invite a team member

  1. Click your profile picture in the bottom left corner and open Settings.

  2. Select Team from the left-side menu.

  3. Click Invite User.
    ​

  4. Enter the user’s name and email. If you want them to have admin permissions, check the admin box.

  5. Click Save Changes to send the invitation. The user will receive an email to join your account.


Team Member Permissions

When editing a user, you will see several permission options. Here is what each one means:

Admin: Admins can invite and remove team members, manage permissions, and access all settings.

​User: Users can access all non-Forecasting metrics, Recover and Cancellation Insights. They cannot invite other team members.

Forecast+ Access: This gives the user access to your financial modeling inside Forecast+. This includes revenue projections, expense inputs, runway modeling, and scenario planning. If enabled, the user can view and interact with all financial data within Forecast+.

Billing User: The Billing User is the person responsible for your Baremetrics subscription. This user receives billing notifications and is the only one who can update payment details. You can switch the Billing User at any time by clicking Set as billing user when editing a team member.


How to edit or remove a team member

  1. Go to Settings β†’ Team.

  2. Click the pencil icon to edit the individual you wish to remove or edit their role:

  3. Change their role, enable Forecast+, set them as the billing user, or remove them. Click Save Changes when finished.


One Email, Many Accounts

Baremetrics allows you to use a single email address across multiple accounts. If a user is invited to a new account using an email they already use in Baremetrics, they will gain access to that additional account.

How to switch between accounts

  1. Click your profile picture in the bottom left corner of the app.

  2. Open the Account Switcher that appears.

  3. Select the account you want to view.

  4. You will be taken to that account immediately.

How to set a default account

If you want Baremetrics to always open a specific account when you log in:

  1. Go to Settings.
    ​

  2. Find the Default Account section.

  3. Choose the account you want as your default.

  4. Save your changes.

  5. The next time you sign in, you will automatically land on your chosen account.
